At Scarborough Beach Medical Centre we care about protecting people against harmful diseases that can cause serious health problems in the community.
We can provide routine immunisations for children and also preventative vaccinations for adults of all ages.
Free Flu Vaccines Available
Protect yourself and your family this flu season with free influenza vaccinations available at Scarborough Beach Medical Centre.
The FluMist nasal spray vaccine is now available and free year-round for children aged 2 to 11, offering a quick, needle-free option.
Free flu vaccines are also available for eligible patients under the National Immunisation Program, including:
- Children aged 6 months to under 5 years
- Adults aged 65 years and over
- Pregnant women at any stage
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
- People aged 6 months and over with certain medical conditions
In addition, from 1 May to 30 June 2026, free flu vaccines are available to all people aged 12 to 64 who are not otherwise eligible.
